Visually, the home theater system in the current Samsung Crystal Design is very progressive and noble. Instead of hyperactive compact satellite speakers to use, belong to the HT-TX715 elegant stands, but only at first glance enormous high quality broadcast. Whoever buys the plant and up, it will not be thrilled that the uppers, in which the speaker technology is installed, simply on the lower parts are attached. Bolting No, no backup - who has children in the house, may involve many a happy adventure . Objectively speaking, is the counterpart, the Samsung for not offering EUR 800, processing from a technical point of view taking into account the value for but still very good. Finally, you get little money for a representative looking solution for home theater modern living room. The very compact looks Head unit As if she had already won many design awards, the same goes for the subwoofer, housing, with its gentle rounding to the female sex should be enjoyed. The surface quality is perfectly situated for all components, the piano finish works well. Only the connoisseurs will notice that the surface does not have the deep impression left behind, such as that in the (much more expensive) Pioneer plasma from the case.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a web browser project by Google. It was leaked yesterday, and Google held a press conference to announce the launch of Chrome. With Chrome, Google hopes to bring the best of various browsers and code, like Firefox and WebKit (WebKit is used by Safari too).

Chrome has a remarkably minimalist interface. There is no full-scale menu bar and no title bar--and few distractions. All controls are buried beneath two icons to the right of the Omnibar (as Google refers to its address bar): a page icon for managing tabs and using Google Gears to create application-like shortcuts from your desktop to a Web site; and a wrench for history, downloads, and other browser options.

Google may well have been forced into a damage control mode, as the first bit of news that we knew was Chrome’s information being leaked. Furthermore, Linux and Mac versions have not been launched - that leaves a large number of Google fans displeased.

It doesn't feel very different from Firefox 3. Chrome might be a little faster, but it's hard to tell on a fast computer. Also, my Google Chrome does not have any plug-ins installed right now. It's not like Firefox 3 is a horrible piece of junk that crashes every 10 minutes.

There’s one highlight that we would like to point to: Chrome can consume considerably less memory than Firefox 3. In our tests. This means that Chrome might be more suitable for Nettops than Firefox, and this might be the most obvious benefit of Google’s software architecture for Chrome.

Doing CNTRL F for find works well, like that it highlights all items on page, then moves through them. Is this same in safari. Bah I need to download and install Safari to compare.

I was resisting Safari as I didn't like apple forcing it in my updater. Silly reason, but still.

Interesting. The 'chrome' in Vista looks so much better then xp. Its blue in xp, and Vista is black/grey. Just looks better.

Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia : The new PDA formalized

A few weeks after the first rumor, Samsung unveils the SGH-i900 Omnia, a new 3G PDA running Windows Mobile. This device has several specific interest: firstly a sober and modern design that is reminiscent of the Apple iPhone. Then a screen to the atypical resolution (240x400), which will display a little more useful information and providing for the first a sort of "force feedback" improving interaction between the user and device. The Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is expected to arrive in Europe this summer.

Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia

The technical characteristics of the SGH-i900 Omnia correspond to current standards: 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS ... The screen 3 "2 of 240x400 innovates doubling the resolution first, and especially the" force feedback "which emits a kind of small vibration when a button is activated by example. The specs sheet of the Samsung i900 is then boosted by the quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE support plus HSDPA 7.2Mbps. Thanks to the built-in accelerometer, the UI automatically rotates to follow the handset's current direction. Wi-Fi support is also on board to make the i900 sound even juicier. Wi-Fi support is also on board to make the i900 sound even juicier. The USB port, FM radio with RDS and stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) are among the final touches to this loaded PocketPC.

Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia Pics

The aircraft loads 8 or 16GB storage, without this n'impacte dimensions: 112 x 56.9 x 12.5 mm. The camera can even be the finest PDA with Windows Mobile! While previous models suffered from a poor autonomy, the SGH-i900 Omnia loads a battery of 1440mA, better calibrated to feed all the functions communicating.

The screen should take advantage of the new graphical user interface developed by Samsung, so as to compete with TouchFLO of HTC.

Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360)

When Resident Evil 4 was released in early 2005 (so early, in fact, that many people seem to remember it as a 2004 title), it was hailed by many as the most impressive survival-horror game since, well, the first Resident Evil. It wasn't that the game did much of anything we hadn't seen before, it's just that it did everything better than its predecessors, combining all of its tried-and-true third-person action elements into a remarkably polished package. RE4 was an intense, terrifying experience from beginning to end, in part because it focused more on the action elements of the game than the traditionally slower-paced survival aspects. After both the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions went on to win multiple Game of the Year awards, we couldn't help but wonder what was in store for the future of the franchise.

RE5 takes place 10 years after the events of Resident Evil 4. Leon Kennedy, however, is a no show. Back from the original Resident Evil, the main playable character is former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield. The official location is still unknown, but rumors and speculation point to the Caribbean country of Haiti. Oddly enough, RE5 incorporates heavy use of bright daylight, a first for the gloomy series.

Chris and Sheva are taking down zombies with extreme prejudice.

RE5 opens in a very familiar scene - Chris Redfield trapped inside a dilapidated building while scratching, pawing, yelling zombies try to break inside. As with RE4 though, they're not really zombies, but villagers with some kind of new virus controlling their behavior. In this case it's the Progenitor Virus mentioned in Code Veronica (probably due for a Wii remake any minute now). This virus was said to have originated in Africa, so Chris is on the case and is now, much to our gaming delight, surrounded by bloodthirsty madmen.

Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals

If it has almost been thirty years, the Nikopol trilogy remains a major work for many fans of comics and after attempting the adventure of filmmaking in 2004, Enki Bilal is now turning to video games. The author did not entrust the adaptation of the first component to anyone and it finally all logic that White Birds, the studio Benoit Sokal, who took charge of the project. A project in a game point & click adventure that arrived on PC and for which we do not know too sadly on Ground.

Nikopol is Choublanc?

Before talking about the game itself, it is important to clarify things, especially for fans of comics Enki Bilal. Indeed, if Nikopol: Frequently Asked Immortals focuses on the first part of the famous trilogy, it is however not a real adaptation. The developers indicate that their game is inspired by the scenario Enki Bilal. In fact, used the cartoon not know in advance what is happening throughout the adventure and, similarly, those who do not already Nikopol will not have the impression of come as a hair on the soup, not including the events told nothing.

The developers have used a staging "BD" for all cinematic

Therefore, it is not even matter to embody the hero of the comic strip, Alcide Nikopol, but his son, a painter without the support which his talents at the service of a religious splinter group that tries to oppose Choublanc dictator. In addition, if the Paris of 2023 is, as in the comic book, divided into two districts and places visited by the player directly from the work of Bilal (the apartment of heroes, the cemetery of Gorgon, the Metro, various changes were made. The fascist government of Jean-Ferdinand Choublanc turned into religious dictatorship, and as players we will have to save the life of our father.

During the five chapters in the adventure, Alcide Nikopol Junior must however also attention to its own existence in turn threatened by various hazards such as a species of bug or terrifying soldiers Choublanc. It is also the first "breach" of the canons of Nikopol adventure game: it is possible to die and it is usually in small sequences limited time that must be addressed as soon as possible. These sequences are not very numerous, but can boost certain sections of the game and it is not wrong. The rest of the time, Nikopol works effectively as a pure point & click.

Developers have adopted a subjective view representation and the player must traverse very successful graphics boards to discover objects or issues for its progression. Via the mouse, you can rotate the entire 360 degrees and discover the whole place where we are. By dragging the mouse pointer across the screen, we discover the interactive features, objects and the ability to move then activates an inventory with ease world with the right mouse button. So a simple interface that allows the atmosphere to settle and the player to concentrate on the puzzles.

FIFA 09 preview

Although FIFA updates can often bring a feeling of deja vu, the development team on this year's PC version are doing some genuinely interesting things. Aside from the usual tweaks to animation and AI systems, they've included a new keyboard-and-mouse control system, a new interface with Web 2.0-like widgets, and a new engine that will make the game visually on par with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

The announcement that EA Sports was discontinuing Madden production for the PC wasn't truly painstaking to those who had played a stagnant version on PC for years. The bigger concern about the announcement was what it could possibly hold and reflect with regards to EA producing sports games for the PC across the board in the future.

On the PC title, the developers have added new PC-specific elements to the game including a new collision system that this year includes a strength attribute that will determine how players react dependent on their size and strength.

Improved controls and branching dribble animations should make players like Ronaldinho even more dangerous.

Specific to the PC will be a new online widget mode that if the PC is connected, online players will be able to see a home page similar to Google's personalised homepage with widgets on their own stats as well as other online players. Additionally users will be able to choose a team widget that offers news and stats from your favourite team in the real world.

Iomega REV 120GB Backup Drive

Data industry storage has known over the years for many changes, some simply disappear while the effects of concentration have pushed for example Seagate and Matrox to get closer. Today, while storing data is more than ever an absolute necessity, acting historical with Iomega has become more difficult than before to impose their solutions. It must be said that the glorious era of ZIP drives are over and Iomega was bought by EMC, the optical revolution has heavily reduced the price of megabyte storage, and increasing the density of hard drives is gone with a pair of inexorable decline of their cost.

This state of affairs to introduce REV, the solution of Iomega's removable storage rather for advanced users and businesses. For where once proposed Iomega external storage solutions removable cartridge for the general public, even now offers Iomega external hard drives. Launched in the year 2004, REV technology evolves gradually and if Iomega proposed to launch a storage solution that can accommodate 35 GB of data per cartridge, there is now talk of 120 GB cartridges, cartridges whose access time and flow are advertised as close to a hard disk. Small overview of the latest development of technology Iomega REV.

At the heart of REV: DRP

In its previous incarnation of REV technology we proposed to store 70 GB of data on a cartridge. Iomega profits from the year 2008 to double that capacity, or nearly since its last REV drive can store up to 120 GB of data, uncompressed on a single cartridge. It is always within the REV technology DRP (or Removable Rigid Disk), which is in many ways similar to technology used in 2.5-inch hard drives. For all of REV trick is to use the technology of hard drives for performance aspect by making it extensible as optical media via removable cartridges.

To do this, the cartridge REV therefore magnetic trays on which are stored data but also the engine, while the read heads and electronics are located in the drive. This feature engine included in the cartridge is supposed to reduce the risk of contamination of trays. Indeed, on the old technology JAZ Iomega, the engine was in drive and cartridge therefore had a hole to cause the rotation of trays, hole through which could enter any kind of dust. Quite dense, REV cartridges are supposed to be watertight and resist shocks (up to 1.5 meters).

Alongside the choice of integrating the engine directly in the cartridges, the DRP technology relies on different areas of leakage within the device while a filtration system expels air at each insertion of a cartridge air cartridge before loading heads: filter cartridges inside then recover dust. And if that was not enough, the player operates a self-cleaning of its read heads on quite a regular basis. Also in order to ensure a flawless reliability of data, technology REV based on a circuit with two levels of error correction for a maximum integrity.

Sony Ericsson S905

The company Sony Ericsson has a clear segmentation of its products task is not to propose solutions class all-in-one, to avoid direct comparisons with competitors' models. Despite the fact that Sony Ericsson C905 - is evident in the company's flagship line of Cyber-shot, and the first phones available not only maximizes the chances of shooting, but a full set of communication tools (Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g certification DLNA), built Module GPS, the new Java-platform (JP-8.4), the company describes the product and the only camera. The approach of Nokia and Samsung have dramatically different. A direct comparison with the S905 devices such as the i8510 INNOV8 or N85, irrelevant in the eyes of Sony Ericsson, but not in the eyes of ordinary people, consumers multifunction devices.

From the list of options, these machines can be compared, but the company believes S905 camera, and this approach gives the right to say that as a photographic solution is optimal S905, has a better implementation. But - just as photographic. There is not even the voice recording video, only to the camera.

Targeting a narrower audience, the care of a massive all-in-one concept - the main problem S905. Indeed, there is a more balanced solution, but competition with them away to another plan, companies prefer not to see them as alternatives to your device. The focus on narrow audiences translates into higher price. Nokia can afford it for certain products (remember the N96, which has never been interested in the mass market, focused on viewing / video recording, digital television standard DVB-H), the company has a large number of more accessible, comparable in the whole functionality with N96 Minus-triplet pair of unique opportunities. For Sony Ericsson, all wrong. S905 - the only solution to this class, and not artificially limit its audience in this way. Indeed, the market for the S905 is, and it is great enough. As we have said, getting into the target audience maximum, but this could be the most audience expanded significantly.

Grand Theft Auto IV : Chinatown Wars ( Nintendo DS )

Published by: Rockstar Games
Developed by: Rockstar Leeds
Release Date: March 17, 2009
Genre: Third-Person Action

About GTA lust, the last time to eat. Less than a year after the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, and a spacious month extension Lost and The Damned, there is another new and very full part in the series, Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars. Not on the big screen you just bought, but for the smallest platform of all, the Nintendo DS. But if that goes well. Past a large and great concept as GTA on a handheld like the DS?

Tested on: Nintendo DS (exclusive title)

In itself, have shown that Rockstar on a small screen from the feet, with Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories in 2005 as the main evidence. The DS has significantly less computing power than the PlayStation Portable, so it's not obvious that the concept to the device from Nintendo can be put. Thankfully Rockstar indeed not such a challenge and the design of China Town Wars is ambitious. The makers promise the same freedom as in the GTA games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, in a city of comparable size. In the latter, the authors quite successful. The comparison is also easy to define, for Chinatown Wars is set in Liberty City, like GTA IV. In China Town Wars is the island of Alderney - Where The Lost and Damned takes place - fell, but the city is the same as in GTA IV. The area covers about two-thirds of what your GTA IV was presented, while the city has the same details. You will find as many alleys, squares, parks and gardens, and just as many cars and pedestrians.

Map

The road is largely the same, so who knows the way GTA IV can in China Town Wars from the feet. Not that it is necessary to move away from your head to know, because CTW has a route planner, just as its big brother. The route of China Town Wars is even better than in GTA IV. If you have missed a turn, it re-calculating the route faster than in GTA IV. The route is included in your PDA, the mobile phone will replace you in GTA IV to your decision. The PDA plays an even greater role than the cell phone in GTA IV. By default, the lower screen of the DS for your PDA, where you also next to a mini harness, health, weapon used and available ammunition visible. In addition, you will see a warning if you have received mail, which you can also read the same screen. By tapping on the mini-open the route to where you can specify waypoints. Nice is that you often directly from a mail if you set a waypoint. So if Uncle Kenny for a job you have, you can at the bottom of the mail already indicate that the residence of Kenny as a waypoint on the mini should be indicated.

Nikon Coolpix P6000 Digital Camera

Nikon has enjoyed an enormous boost in popularity over the past year, which most photographers undoubtedly will have noticed. Nikon's digital SLR series is extremely successful, and not only for the professional. Both the entry-level model and the professional D3 have increased sales numbers, and Nikon seems to leap forward once again with the introduction of the Nikon D3x. This is all about DSLR cameras, which is quite striking indeed. The Nikon Coolpix camera series is a totally different call.

Nikon Coolpix compact cameras & digitale SLR cameras
The market share of the Coolpix camera shows a vast difference to that of Nikon’s digital SLR cameras. The figures are proof of the difficulty Nikon encounters when it comes to the compact camera segment. It seems that these segments are so separate that they hardly seem to affect one another, if even at all. Nikon revealed a strategy in 2007 which should increase sales numbers of the DSLR and compact cameras. The DSLR as well as the compact camera segment required growth. And here we are, two years later, only to see that the Coolpix camera has turned out to be the problem child.

Nikon P6000 with GPS, LAN and RAW support
In August 2008, Nikon introduced its flagship, the Nikon Coolpix P6000. Since this camera was considered to be the answer to the popular PowerShot G series, expectations were sky-high. Raw was absolutely required and a wide angle of a minimum of 28mm compulsory. The camera should offer extensive manual possibilities as well as be able to surprise the user. On paper, the specifications have interesting options; such as the integrated GPS and LAN support.

The P6T6 WAS Revolution is also compatible with the technology 3-Way SLI PCIe x16 Gen2, providing the user with graphics performance to reliability and speed limits for all design activity carried out in the fields of mechanics, of architecture, interior design, aerospace, audio and video, or for playing video games in his spare time.

With six ports PCIe x16 Gen2, the P6T6 WAS Revolution offers connections I / O at high speed. With six ports PCIe x16 Gen2, the P6T6 WAS Revolution offers connections I / O at high speed. Each port can support up to 8GB / s bandwidth, twice the amount borne by the PCIe 1.1 is ideal for connecting high-speed Infiniband, and to use card processing, high performance or yet professional graphics cards.

It is designed primarily to work stations as all cards "WAS" but it should no doubt the most demanding of you. Based on the Intel X58 chipset, it delivers famous for Nvidia NF200 chip in addition to other functions of the cards range P6T. NF200 chip that allows the "real" 3-Way SLI using three ports PCIe 16X rigged. The P6T6 WAS Revolution benefits from high quality components as Japanese polymer capacitors and inductors ferrite filter, type of Mosfet Low RDS and a cooling system similar to that of other motherboards from ASUS range WAS.

Afro Samurai (PS3, Xbox 360)

What do you get if you coolheid of ninjas and samurai blends in the coolheid of Samuel L. Jackson? Correct: Afro Samurai. Namco Bandai shows the gladiator with the attitude of the comic and anime series switch to the game world. Afro Samurai is a fun game that you want to find there, the style, humor and the presence of Jackson before. Furthermore, in previous game sessions that cutting in Afro Samurai addictive. The question is whether that addiction factor throughout the game remains.

The game tells the story of the dark gladiator Afro Samurai. As a child Afro witnessed the murder of his father by Justice, the carrier of the 'Number One head band. In the world of Afro Samurai, the bearer of the Number One can only be challenged by the wearer of the Number Two. To revenge on Justice to be taken should therefore first Afro beat. On his path, he is opposed by The Empty Seven, a group of old monks that little good with him plan.

The story is not too exciting, if you do not know Afro Samurai. Do you know the anime well, then you recognize many elements and provides the story, especially at the points where the story in the game just a little different than the anime, automatically added. The way the story is told is very stylish out. In that respect, especially the level where Afro always looking to be the Japanese lady Okiku a joy to play. Do you know the series does not, this is a boring level with a low rate. First look at the series before you play the game is definitely recommended. Several fights, including the duel with Kuma, will be much more significance.

Hilarity

It is obviously not required to be familiar with the world of Afro Samurai, but without prior knowledge you will not really understand some things. Anyone who is, for example, Ninja Ninja, the Afro-like figure to be out of time and gives an opinion and juicy one-liners through your speakers Schaltwerk? Ninja Ninja is not really a character, but a kind of alter ego of Afro Samurai, the humorous side of Afro consumption. And he does with verve, witness statements as "that ******* Mount! Uhh ... wait that came out wrong ..." Occasionally Ninja Ninja talk directly to the player - "You saw that too, right?" - Which can provide some amusement.

Zalman CNPS8700 LED & NT Cooling fan

Zalman is a major player in the field of cooling. For several years now that we must salute the excellent performance of their cooling systems for CPU.The CNPS9500 out there more than two years remains a safe bet while pure performance enthusiasts will love the huge CNPS9700.The side of the liquid cooling, the Reserator are no longer present, have thrilled and continue to delight many fans of silence. However, this idyllic picture is somewhat qualified in recent times.Indeed, the CNPS8000 has been rather disappointing because of its poor performance while the Reserator XT has proved unconvincing not only because of its performance but its price and change the philosophy of making assets where others were Reserator fanless.

Recently, Zalman has released two new ventirads from a common basis: the CNPS8700 LED and CNPS8700 NT. In short, it is loosely inspired by sinks in 7700 that might have added some heat. The LED has a classic 3 connector pins while the NT uses a PWM connector 4 points. Before considering their performance, one can only regret that Zalman products so inspired by what he has done in the past.CNPS9500 since there are more than two years, no innovation has been led by the Korean manufacturer in terms of cooling air. On the other hand, it is understandable that Zalman must say that their products are selling well, are efficient and there is therefore no reason to change products successful.Still hoping that the Korean company will soon ventirads innovative new as they conceive are accustomed to.

Series 8000 with Zalman radiator is initially intended for desktop-type enclosures and HTPC enclosure whose height is insufficient to accommodate ventirads type tower. As already mentioned, the 8000 was a disappointment in terms of performance, where the output of 8700 who embrace the philosophy of "bigger is better".It is indeed sinks with a 110mm fan cooling fins Copper heat pipes by two crossings. But are not limited to HTPC cases, which is rather obvious.

Apple in-ear earphones with Microphone for iPod

This time I will try and analyze the two models of iPod headphones with microphone and controls offered by Apple headphones with remote control and microphone and headphone plug for Apple. These two pairs of headphones for iPod are also notable for having a capsule in the control of the headset cable that has three buttons to control volume and playback of music and a microphone.

The two headphone models are designed for two audiences differ. Some are a replacement for the earphones included with the iPod, while maintaining the design and sound quality to which we are accustomed, but the added functionality of the microphone and comfort control. The other model of headset is intended for users who want a better sound quality, and also include a microphone and control.

Compatibility

Controls and the microphone of the headset is compatible fourth generation iPod nano, iPod Classic 120GB and the second generation iPod touch. But the sound of these headphones work with any iPod (or other device that has a standard headphone jack).
These two models of headphones can also be used with an iPhone, original or 3G. With an iPhone you can use the microphone and button to switch songs or attending a call, but do not operate the two buttons to increase or decrease the volume. That means doing everything they can do with the iPhone headset.

Presentation and Content

The box of the headphones with remote control and microphone for the Apple iPod is cardboard black, elongated and not very big. It has a discreet design and traditional which is also used in other accessories for Apple iPod. In the front is a picture of the headphones and remote, and the name of this product. The reverse has the name of this model of headphones in different languages and below the compatibility information from them.

The box opens from the top and inside we find a small manual, warranty and an envelope containing the headphones. The envelope is opened by breaking one end so as to remove the headphones.

ASUS EAH4850 and EAH4870 matrix Graphic Card

ASUS EAH4850 and EAH4870 matrix based on ATI Radeon HD 4850 and 4870th.This matrix models should have a particularly close to the actual cooling load oriented reward. In the ideal case, even the graphics card and the noiseless passive cooling. Only when graphics chip, memory and board are really hot, it increases the speed of the fan accordingly.

The associated software from ASUS called iTracker and was already in the testing of the ASUS EN9600GT Matrix presented in detail. Nothing much has changed because it was only on the two ATI Radeon models tuned.

Even the radiator was on the ASUS EAH4850 matrix is not changed, it corresponds to the EN9600GT Matrix where as for EAH4870 matrix, it is not. Here comes a new cooler to be used by the two large fan out.

The complete specifications of the ASUS EAH4850 and EAH4870 matrix in comparison to the Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 reference from AMD are in the table below.

The differences to the standard models of Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 - besides the price - are the clock speeds. The graphics and shades from ASUS EAH4870 matrix run with 50 MHz more, the memory at 100 MHz is more raised. The memory clock of the ASUS EAH4850 matrix corresponds to the standard chip and run shades but 35 MHz faster. There is also the matrix models of the Radeon HD 4800 series with only 512 MB of RAM.

Logitech G13 for gamers

Game Panel
When the program for the first time on startup, a screen appears explaining the different parts of the G13. If you are shown just before each use and what features are there. Then you can choose a button to adjust by clicking on it. There appears a menu where you have enough options to set. If you can change a keystroke and a macro or function assigned.

G13 keys
In addition to the 22 programmable G keys, the joystick and the two buttons, a few keys.

A key to the display light on or off.
A button to switch between the information that the display shows.
Four keys to the RSS messages scrolling by, to open or delete them.
Three buttons to switch between saved profiles
A button to choose a key to program.

LCD screen
The G13 is equipped with an LCD screen. On this screen you can see several things. Through a separate program window is entirely up to your liking. For example, a standard RSS feed, cpu & ram usage and clock display.

The G13 also has the ability to change the color of the lights to adjust, this can be done in the game panel. Any color is possible, the display and the button lights in the specified color.

Tests
For the board game to test, I used during a session of World of Warcraft and Quake 3, these two games are excellent for this. During testing I was often the problem that the buttons I could not properly express. The positioning of some buttons makes it somewhat difficult to press them quickly. Also I noticed in Quake 3 that I tended to my own faster than binds to binds to the G13. This is probably just a matter of getting used to, but I could not easily make the switch.

Internet Explorer 8

Internet Explorer is the browsers like rotten apple from the apple tree. Personally I see no reason for the browser to use, because the competition has long been light years ahead on Microsoft's default browser in Windows .

I use Mozilla Firefox 3.0 as default browser. I did a while Google Chrome is used. Great browser and certainly a lot of potential, but is not yet mature. Powerful options for organizing bookmarks, a good address, favorite bar, search box and just a quick and stable browser with many plug-ins is something that Mozilla Firefox is able to offer me convinced.

Mozilla Firefox is obviously not perfect. If I find the address bar of Google Chrome work smarter and see the main browser on Windows Vista does not. There are "tabs on top" just a little finer than the normal location of the tabs and the browser just as efficient.

And yet I am after testing Internet Explorer 8 will doubt. Maybe on March 19 released browser is not so bad. Maybe it's time for Internet Explorer to take anything seriously. In order to welcome in the browser war.

Standards
Microsoft itself says that Internet Explorer 8 'standards support. " How surprising, that is not true. You've probably heard that Internet Explorer passes the Acid2 test. That is beautiful, that implies that the browser can handle PNG, CSS 2.1 and some other techniques.

There is another new test of the same makers which called Acid3 Internet Explorer wretched in scores. It takes only a score of 20 - IE7 a score of 14 - of 100, while competitors such as WebKit, Presto and Gecko already by the 100 to sit.

Toshiba NB100 Netbook

In test, the Toshiba NB100 Netbook offering hard disk standard 2.5-inch, is a blend of materials and the highest level at a price highly competitive. The great success of the early models Netbook has convinced even the most skeptical PC vendor to look at the market for low cost laptops with its own range of products.Of the four models available at launch, Toshiba NB100-111 NB100-10Y, NB100-11B (respectively black, silver and champagne) and NB100-11R, only the latter is still present on the Italian list. The sample under test is a Toshiba NB100 10Y with silver staining, 120GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP operating system, Differs from the version NB100-11R primarily for the operating system for the lack of Bluetooth and the allocation of memory and storage.

The list of specifications of Toshiba NB100 Netbook 11R, in fact, includes the Intel Atom N270, 512MB DDR2 memory, magnetic hard disk 80GB and 8.9-inch screen from WSVGA (1024x600) with TruBrite technology. The platform is not Centrino Atom, but the less known, though more widespread, Navy Pier UltraMobile specific systems for entry-level, which runs the Linux operating system Ubuntu Netbook Remix. Apparently, Toshiba has decided to cut to a minimum or give up much of its profit margin to allow for its mini-notebook to get space between brand already well established and known to the general public.Although limited by the size of small houses and the economic nature of this laptop, but the budget of the interfaces of the Toshiba NB100 is richer and more complete than that offered by most of the Netbook.

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop (Nintendo Wii)

After making the fans happy on Xbox 360 in 2006, Dead Rising was adapted this year on Wii. Good news for all lovers of horror games, a little forgotten by the last Nintendo console so far. With The House Of The Dead: Overkill, MadWorld and now Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop, this period of scarcity seems long gone.

Dead Rising, three years after

Across a mall full of zombies excited and shops filled with items is now accessible to any Wii owner. Unfortunately, Capcom has allowed large edits to this port, more or less acceptable depending on the case . More fashion photos, running time more classical and a drastic reduction in the number of zombies on the screen are among the main victims, the game bearing the same general pattern: the town of Willamette, 50000 inhabitants and bananas, is in the grip of a strange disease. To escape the dead awake, the survivors took refuge in the giant shopping mall. You play Frank West, also a journalist determined to get to the truth that survive. But we must act quickly. You do that three days before the arrival of your helicopter.

Dead Rising becomes dirigiste, offering more real freedom of action in a broad always. Discovery and experimentation are almost on the agenda, we are forced to follow the path mapped out now before us. While it is nice to see the progress and experience simplified difficult to bear the appearance of dull and repetitive construction of the game enchain on rescue missions and boss in a linear fashion, sometimes boring. The charm of the narrative, graduated from the compulsory advancing the story, fortunately still operates. Gallery crazy characters involved in the adventure is for many. It offers under an atmosphere of Capcom that is successful between the gore and really completely cliche, such that Z series stain.

7 motherboards for Core i7 processors to compare

"Post 7 compares motherboards for enthusiasts users, combined with Intel Core i7: Asus Rampage II Extreme, Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P, Intel DX58SO, MSI Eclipse SLI, DFI LanParty UT T3eH8-x58, and x58 Biostar TPower

Introduction

In the month of November 2008, a period in which the economic crisis that is characterizing the international economy began to emerge clearly in the IT market, Intel presented its new generation of processors for desktop systems. Talking about the cpu Core i7 family, better known by the code name of Nehalem.

Intended to accompany the family of processors Core 2, presented with the first version in July 2006, the Core i7 solutions were immediately placed in the top segment of the range of the desktop processor market, despite prices that in some versions were fully comparable with those of Core 2 Quad cpu on the market. These are the first 3 versions of the Core i7 processor that Intel has entered the market in November, and currently represent the offering of Intel for this type of processors:

Core i7 965 Extreme Edition: clock frequency of 3.2 GHz; QPI bus to 3.2 GHz (6.4 Gigatransfer / sec); L3 cache from 8 Mbytes; DDR3-1600 memory, 130 watts maximum TDP; Overspeed protection disabled;
Core i7 940: clock frequency of 2.93 GHz; QPI bus to 2.4 GHz (4.8 Gigatransfer / sec); L3 cache from 8 Mbytes; DDR3-1066 memory, 130 watts maximum TDP; Overspeed protection enabled.
Core i7 920: clock frequency of 2.66GHz, QPI bus to 2.4 GHz (4.8 Gigatransfer / sec); L3 cache from 8 Mbytes; DDR3-1066 memory, 130 watts maximum TDP; Overspeed protection enabled.

These cpu are characterized by the same basic type of architecture, distinguished by the clock frequency and some other elements. In particular processors Core i7 940 and Core i7 920 is offered by Intel with frequencies QPI and DDR3 memory, respectively, equal to 2.4 GHz (corresponding to 4.8 Giga transfer / sec) and 1066 MHz, while for the CPU Core i7 965 Extreme Edition these go up to 3.2 GHz (6.4 Gigatransfer / sec) and 1600 MHz, however, Intel has made available the appropriate frequency multipliers inside the cpu Core i7 940 and Core i7 920 for the retail channel, so that you can turn to these same specifications of the CPU Core i7 965 Extreme Edition.

During the second quarter Intel will update its range of processors Core i7 family, presenting two new versions of high-end. To replace the CPU Core i7 965 will model the Core i7 975, with a clock frequency of 3.33 GHz to 3.2 GHz processor which will take place. Moving down, the Core i7 940 processor with clock frequency of 2.83 GHz model will be replaced by Core i7 950, characterized by an increase in clock frequency up to 3.06 GHz remains unchanged in other specifications.

Men of War

In the already crowded field of World War II real-time strategy games, new contenders have to provide something special to distinguish themselves. In order to achieve this, game developers must experiment and push beyond the ordinary, creating games that give us new reasons to revisit WWII again and again. Men of War succeeds at carving a niche within the genre by delivering an epic campaign full of historical detail, plus the ability to jump into your units with a third-person "direct control" mode. Furthermore, Men of War forgoes base building so that you can focus on tactics. These elements combine to produce an experience steeped in history and rich in detail that will reward anyone looking for a challenging new twist on the genre.

Unfortunately, the Faces of War sequel was less enjoyable and tended to emphasize the things that did not quite work the first time around. Now Best Way is back with their third attempt, Men of War , which, in spite of a few lingering problems, is one of the most enjoyable and challenging tactical games we've played in a long time. Now Best Way is back with their third attempt, Men of War, which, in spite of a few lingering problems, is one of the most enjoyable and challenging tactical games we've played in a long time.

Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

Larger than the D40x and D60, the Nikon D5000 is, in part, a small weight on the screen with rotating hinge is positioned at the bottom. It is, therefore, not place the LCD screen on the side but it runs, leisure, towards you, that meant over a crowd or as a spy, the device on the knees. The rotary screen turned out, we will see, to be really useful.

Between the device very public, very small and the device expert/pro-big, - the D5000 we seemed to be a balance in terms of size for a good grip. Can not please everyone at once, however, Nikon managed to stick to a "medium."

You turn your head

Assume Roger is your cousin and is a fun loving guy. He came to you with this concert of Death Metal, but Roger has a big flaw: Roger is great and has the habit of placing himself in front of you. With rotating on the screen can hold the camera at arm's length and fit properly-at least if the crowd do not shaking too much.

In ideal lighting conditions, optical stabilization is doing its job. Dark indoors, you can count on the rise in ISO. The hinge of the screen gave us good effect and should collect the repeated manipulation.

The price of this screen, we have seen, is a box a little wider. But it is also the size and screen resolution. The LCD is 6.9 inches diagonally (as against 7.6 per number) and the number of pixels is restricted to 230,000 units, against the three experts on devices. Nothing embarrassing: the LCD is well controlled and, if not very fine, the images appear clear and well mixed.

Nikon confirms his mastery of the rise in ISO

Point of secret electronic D5000 is the result of the excellent D90. Apart from a theoretical speed shoot and effective, we have the gusts seemed soft on the bottom-D5000, the image is similar. Result: The unit mounts without damage to ISO 1600, ISO 3200 with a visible loss of quality and even at ISO 6400 (H1 mode) without the blessing of Nikon which leaves the option available in case you fall face with a night in the campaign. But is the preferred ISO 1600, an already high sensitivity for which the D5000 provides results that are simply excellent. Therefore, photos taken together over your cousin Roger will most likely not only to be framed well (thank you screen rotating), but also thank you the net-mounted ISO.

Nikon coolpix S220 Digital camera

Nikon Coolpix S220 - hyperfine camera with 10 megapixel resolution, made in a thin and light chassis. Coolpix S220 is equipped with a 3-folded Nikon lens technology with VR, which vibration is suppressed automatically, that provides clear and amazing images. Nikon Coolpix S220 has automatic choice of the plot, which itself selects camera settings for the frame that you want to remove. Quick processing allows the processing of images taken with insufficient lighting conditions. As a result, the image becomes sharp, bright and natural. In the initial changes are not made shots, and Nikon Coolpix S220 quickly makes a copy of the image, the best balance of contrast and saturation. The touch-screen S60 must be working out for the company, because it's added a second model for spring: the Coolpix S230, which has a cheaper touch-free sibling, the S220. Unlike with the S60, however, Nikon included a mechanical zoom switch rather than relying on the touch screen for zooming. Both cameras have 3x zoom lenses, 10-megapixel sensors, and 2.5-inch LCDs.

The anti-blur 4x avoids automatically blurred shots, four different ways. The function electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) reduces the effect of the camera shake. The high sensitivity (up to ISO 2000) in the light decreases the risk of blurry photos when shooting moving subjects quickly or in low light. Motion detection compensates for subject movement and camera. The function selector image (BSS) automatically chooses the sharpest picture from ten consecutive shots. The advanced Face-priority AF correction with soft red-eye can detect under up to 12 faces, and to focus specifically on them. This function corrects the impaired eye color due to flash at the instant of the shooting.

LG KM900 Arena mobile phone

Appearance and Design

LG has succeeded in giving a true identity to his KM900 Arena despite the fact that most of the front panel is occupied by a screen. Rather than yield to the lure of a discreet look, LG dares chrome edges and slightly rounded on his Arena. These features provide the mobile to be easily recognizable and offers in addition a nice hand. Despite the careful data sheet, the KM900 is still quite end with 12 mm thick.

The front is smooth since the 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen is sensitive and not mechanical.

The sides and rear are made gray plastic soft to the touch. The finishes of the device are remarkable and the whole is fully assembled. Only the contour chrome seems a little too sensitive to scratches and could badly aging if you place it in your pants pocket or the bottom of a bag. If you crack the Arena, we advise you to obtain a bag fast enough.

Access to the socket to recharge the mobile for its part is located behind a small sliding cover excellent. A flat still the location of the memory card is placed under the battery cover. Fortunately, no need to switch off the mobile once battery cover removed, the location is accessible without removing the battery.

The sides of the device are fairly counted. The right has 3 buttons very classical, the two buttons for volume and one that triggers the picture. On the left is access to the connector to recharge the mobile mentioned earlier.

Finally, the upper button to switch on and off the phone, the handsfree connector and stereo headphones as well as the release button of the battery.

Nokia N86 mobile phone

The N86 is an 8-megapixel camera phone with wide-angle Carl Zeiss optics. The camera shutter can snap shut in 1/1000th of a second. The camera features dual LED flash for low light image capture, digital image stabilization, and 30fps video recording. N86 8MP come to replace the N85, extends the life cycle of this model only. It is new in the phone is nothing but the camera and the number of applications, but these improvements really important, they are pleasant.

This is a slide design phone with dimension ranging from 103.4 mm x 51.4 mm x 16.5 mm. its weight is approximately 149 g considering the technology within it. It comes as either white or black in color with a very powerful 2.6 inch LED scratch resistant. The LED can display over 16 million colors. Its screen resolutions are 240 x 320 pixels. It also has on board memory of 8 Gigger bytes that can store relatively a large volume of work.

N86 looks better live than in pictures, but not as good as N85. Control elements of different texture plastic edging is not too well in tune with each other, the apparatus does not produce a single impression, it might be a bit strange, so to speak. According to the same design of Sony Ericsson W995 is clearly more interesting and more expensive.

The surface of Nokia N86 8MP smooth but not glossy, a little mat, similar to soft-touch. There is a lens built-in camera, next to the camera module is a dual diode flash. Under the cover of battery compartment is the battery capacity of 1200 mAh. On the back cover on the inside you will find the contacts, which upon closer investigation antenna FM-transmitter, so that when removing the panel transmitter to work is refused.
