Don’t know the reason why VAC banned steam account
Recently I just bought a new laptop and then installed Modern Warfare 2 on it but when I tried to play it then I got to know that I have been VAC banned. It’s been 4 months that I have played Modern warfare 2. And even at that time also my account was not banned. Yes, my laptop was stolen 4 months ago, I don’t know if that is the reason behind this or not. I can say this very honestly that I never cheated when I was playing games on my steam account. I don’t want to buy a new copy, but I have only this game in my laptop. I want to complain about this ban, is there any way for this? It didn’t gave me any notification or anything I just saw my account as banned. It is really irritating.

Before, I say I anything, I want to let you know that VAC detected hacks on your steam account and therefore it banned your account. You are totally responsible for your account, doesn’t matters who cheated on your account, you or anyone else. Hence, you will get nothing after complaining them about this.

I think the person who stole your laptop has used your steam account and cheated on that and that triggered a VAC ban. It’s true that your account’s security is your responsibility and now there is nothing so that you can reverse the ban. I know you are feeling very bad for this but this is the way how VAC works. And your notification is that your account is banned for that specific game that you tried to play. I don’t think now you want anymore notifications. But, you can contact support for an appeal. However, I think they are most likely to find that your VAC ban was valid and they will not be able to do anything for you and don’t be expecting much from them.
Next time if you lost your laptop then it is advisable by me that you should immediately change the password by loging into each website that you is valuable for you, because, Steam Guard is not going to provide any kind of protection for this kind of situation.

Yes, you should have changed the password of your steam account when your laptop was stolen. It is true that, even if you didn’t hack, VAC doesn’t lift the ban in any circumstances.

You didn’t play that game for four months; I think that is the enough time for VAC ban to be imposed. And have right to do anything and you agreed upon that when you were signing up. And there is nothing you can get by appealing about this.

I think you should contact some support and then get your ban reviewed. If they found that you have a false positive then they may lift your ban. However, I have heard that they don’t lift bans but it better to give a try.

Really sorry to say you that Valve is not able to lift the VAC ban anyhow. But, I have another suggestion for you. I think you should raise a support ticket and ask them for that IP by which your account was logged at the time when they found that you cheated and then you can pass that IP to police and they will find that person may give your laptop back to you. So, do as I said so that you can get back your laptop.

I think Valves should be responsible and to protect their users’ laptops from theft if it says itself a professional company. If it is the fact that you have not played for four months then I think that they should lift the ban from your account even if you were cheating, because 4 months is really a long time. Now, should be able to play your game. I will suggest you to contact some support and explain your problem them completely. You will surely get something from them.

First, even if you get the IP address of the time when your laptop was stolen then also it will not be useful as the thief will have at least have a little brain of using proxy. And also I think Valve is not an antitheft company. You should be responsible for your laptop’s security not Valve. It’s more than enough that Valve has added Steam Guard and email verification. Therefore, you must know that your password can not be changed so easily.

Will the VAC ban be removed when I will re-buy new game’s license?
I have been VAC banned of all the Half life games few years ago however I have their sources. Now, I was thinking of getting those game on my same account because I have many other valve games on this account and I don’t want to get a new account and I want to play half life games also. Therefore, I was thinking that will I be able to play those games if I will re buy them again on the same account. If anyone has tried doing this previously then please share your experience with me. Or, if any of you have any idea about this then please reply.

I think you might be knowing it clearly that all VAC banns are permanent and there is no way to get out of that. So, it will not worth buying them again on your same account.

Yes, of course I know that VAC bans are permanent but I looking for a workaround as I really don’t want create a new Steam account. Making a new steam account again is really annoying. Therefore, I want to get all my games on this same steam account only. So, if it is possible in any way then please reply me. Is there anyone who has already tried this?

You have written few years ago, in above post. Do you remember the exactly when your account was banned? I am not sure but I have got to know that before April 2004 they were banning under old system, in which they were not banning permanently. So, if you were banned before April 2004 then you don’t have to worry as then you might not have banned permanently.

If you just like to play those games then it is not a big deal to start with a new account. Instead of buying new games again for your previous steam account , if you will start playing again with a new steam account then you will get a clean slate and on that you can make a new personality of yours on steam networks, but only if you are not a cheater anymore.

I don't think Valve will allow to play those game on your same account, and I think they really should not. Because, if they will do so then people will take it very easily, they will just cheat and when get banned then repeat cheating again after re-buying. It will not be any effective in stopping cheaters to cheat in the games.

Yes, if the users will be allowed to buy their ban away then it will be a worst scenario. Then it will be very easy to do the cheat again and again without having to create any new account. Yes, if they do so then Valve should ban all your VAC secured games if you get caught doing cheat again.

Hello guys as we all know that the demo of this game is released and I play the 2 3 quick game of it. And I found something weird with the refereeing system in this FIFA 12. Then according to that I try to find about the internet and I found the following link. So I think it’s a bug in this game. Actually the opposite player fall down outside the D still the referee give penalty. So it’s totally annoying in this game. Does anyone else observe the same thing with this game? Hello even I observe this same thing which is present in this video. And I am shocked. I am playing this game on a PS3. I never had experience this kind of problem with the previous version of this game. Then why it’s n FIFA 12. Dubious conclusion within the area in addition, as per the penalties through light stand tackles associates. All these things are really annoying. And this will ruin this game.

Yes man you are correct you are not the only one who observes this tings but even I faced this same situation. however more through winning the ball and FKs and pens individual specified, I’m not sure whether it’s hypothetical to be similar to it though as to build referees obtain decisions wrong toward make them more practical I don’t be acquainted with. So I think, we all FIFA lovers have to agree with this realistic feature of this game.

I believe it would be mutually good and bad if this conclusion were added for the reason that it absolutely would be more realistic however alternatively you don't would like to acquire within a real tense and close game and after that lose toward a goal scored commencing a penalty similar to that. I expect this is a bug that is able to be fixed for the reason that a number of the things people have thought and the video are outlandish. Possibly if there were tackles that are tough to judge, at that moment it would be superior as it would be reasonable. However not completely superior tackles similar to people have thought. This is what I am thinking about it.

Hello guys as we all know that FIFA 12 Demo is released and we all are enjoying this game. its rally a nice game. Great graphics and gameplay no doubt in that. But still I am facing the big issue with this game and because of that I am not able to enjoy this game. Actually with this game I am having issue of frames drops. So according to that I turn down all my settings to the low configuration or with the low resolution but still its lagging like hell and its unplayable for me. And even I am using nvidia geforce 9800gt 1gb of graphic card. but still same issue. Do you guys have any idea about it?

Initially go to the fifasetup which you will get into the C drive ubder the users in that you will get one folder user and from there you will get documents from their select FIFA 12 in that you will get this folder. Once you will get this folder after that you have to open it and then you have to copy this within the directory SCREEN_SLEEP=16. If you done with that after that exit from their and save this fifasetup ini file. And after reopening the file it should be look in the following format.

CONTROLLER_DEFAULT = 0
FULLSCREEN = 1
MSAA_LEVEL = 4

Can I perform the same thing with the full version of this game? Please share your reply and clear my doubt. I am sure that you will solve this issue. I am just playing this game through the Redering Quality resting on Medium but I am getting the major lag. Do you have any solution?

I consider that's for the reason that the resolution you locate is too high in favor of your graphics chipset. If you decrease the resolution toward let’s say 1440x900 or inferior it supposed to be smoother on top of high detail. I would suggest you build a Custom Gaming PC through a dedicated graphics card similar to GTX 560 Ti; it would be cheaper and additional commanding than a latest laptop. I don't consider in the complete game you will comprise the stuttering. EA Sports not remember to comprise SCREEN_SLEEP=16 within the demo which was present with the FIFA 11, that's why it's affect stuttering in favor of some users.

I am in performance of all high settings through 4x MSAA at 1920x1200 resolution through no lag or stuttering. However I have to articulate earlier than applying the SCREEN_SLEEP=16 I was aggravated and was regarding to give up through FIFA 12. I am pleased this resolves it.

well I bushed a lot my PC isn’t immense however through dual core 2.2 GHZ and HD 6670 1gb I supposed to run FIFA 12 in any case on medium on the other hand the demo is therefore bad that I cant however here is a answer. The simply way toward repair it up at the moment is to run the game at resolution close toward your desktop one and within window mod. through Vsync on/off try together and MSAA off as well on LOW! Even though, it’s not overwhelming however still my FIFA 11 used to work easily on top of this. Hell guys I try with the all settings but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t delete it however I moved anywhere else for this FIFA 12 folder. And now I am playing this game in a window mode and now I am not getting any frame drops or stuttering.

Hell guys I try with the all settings but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t delete it however I moved anywhere else for this FIFA 12 folder. And now I am playing this game in a window mode and now I am not getting any frame drops or stuttering.

I am having this problem as well. The game sprint at 60 however occasionally it go down toward 50 or 45 fps. Still through vsync allow on top of the game and resting on the nVIDIA control panel. If I turn the vsync off I obtain screen tearing. Do you guys have any idea about it? Please share your replies with me.

But now I am looking for the extender file for the gameplay of this demo. Is it possible to increase the length of the match up to the 6 mins. I heard that there is some files present on internet by merging that you can extend the length of the match up to the 6 mins. I am attaching this file with my post. So you have to download this file and after downloading this file you have to extract it and after extracting you will get one text file. I am attaching this file with my post. So you have to download this file and after downloading this file you have to extract it and after extracting you will get one text file. I am having solution for this but don’t know if it’s helpful for you guys or not but still try the following steps. Initially you have to open one notepad file and name it as a demofix.reg or any other name with the .reg extension. After that copy the following text in this file

Once you done with it then after that save this file with this same .reg extension. And after that you have to run this .reg file. After doing this you can run this FIFA12 demo's Autorun.exe file and after that install the FIFA 12 demo. And even FIFA 11 also you can run easily with the desktop shortcut. Please try this and see if it’s helpful for you guys or not. I am sure this will help you to solve this issue. Best of luck guys.

Hello thank you for this information but still you did not mentioned where I should copy this file, In FIFA 11 folder or within the FIFA 12 demo folder. The file I am having is extended as .reg however actually it is a .txt notepad straightforward. at the moment tell me please, help me at the moment for the reason that this is significant I require fifa 11 installed on top of my pc and I can't, what's the subsequently step?? Are you sure is it working because I don’t want to waste my time behind some stupid things. So please provide appropriate information.

Hey thank you for your information its working for me. And if it’s not working for you then for your information you have to put this file at any location on your system. You only have to run this file and then you will get the message that registry key has been changed successfully. This much only you have to do.

While searching about this I come to this thread and I try all this steps but still it’s not working for me. After so much effort I am able to install this FIFA 12 in my system. But at the moment it’s not working for me. I am not able to play this game. When I click on a play at that moment it goes black and nothing after that. So you have any idea about it.
