HP Product Assistant.msi is missing

I have HPG60 notebook in which I have windows vista in my laptop. my laptop was working fine. From last few days I am facing one problem with my laptop. Now in my laptop I get one message comes which says "An installation package for the product HPProductAssitant cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package "HPProductAssistant.msi" I have tried to fix this but I am not getting any solution. Please suggest me some solution.

I think you should try to solve this problem by doing system restore point in your laptop. if you have made any system restore point previously then you have to do system restore in your laptop and after that your problem might get solved. Just try this solution and after that check whether same problem is coming or not. I think after trying this solution your problem will get solved.

The problem which you are facing in your laptop is because of the missing hpproductassistant.msi file and if you want to solve this problem then you have to copy this file in your laptop and after that you will not get the same problem in your laptop. you can copy this file with the help of the CD which comes with the laptop. Just insert that CD and after that restore hpproductassistant.msi file in your laptop. if you want any more information then let me know.
