Best Buy canceled limited edition pre-order of Forza Motorsport 4 game
Hello friends, I presently received an email from Best Buy declare that they canceled my limited edition pre-order due to the overwhelming demand. I ordered a month ago and am only now discovering when no places for the limited edition. Has this occurred to any person else? How could they not get enough to copy what they sell? So please tell me about it and also you have any other information regarding it then please tell me. Thank you.

I pre ordered the Trade Act of September 15.... I just received an email that says "Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand, Best Buy is not able to fulfill their pre-order".

Ah, yes, I just received the same e-mail and ordered at the same time he did. What am I supposed to do? They are offering a gift card of $ 20 and 1600 Microsoft points to compensate for inconvenience if the standard edition, but does not receive the VIP cars, the VIP of all, the Book of Top Gear, so I already had a bad day and this is just the icing on the cake! I think they are doing this with everyone and also think it is better to get the game from the store and start playing it, so I would recommend doing that for the time been.

Oh man. I have it too. What the **** is that my originally requested in mid-August and then called again to get a price match in mid-September. They did it by canceling my original order and create a new one. I wonder if the original had done

This is exactly why I never for games. I cannot stand when things get screwed. Especially in a new version. I just went to my local Wal-Mart and buy the game. All and sundry floods Best Buy / Gamestop / Etc. I walk into Wal-Mart and you can see three people in the offing for a game. Either way good luck to you, I would be furious. This is really frustrating and also not good to be done with the entire user and also it is like losing the user to buy the game. I also think it is better to purchase the game form the store and play the game without any worry and also without cancellation of the game.

I just establish out my LCE pre-order from Gamestation may or may possibly not be canceled! WHY? What is the point? If they did cancel it, would you be able to pre-order again

I have the email and start looking for a collector's publication. Within minutes of receiving the email I went to Gamestop.com, Walmart.com, and the store from Microsoft to see if I could order a collector's publication. It took me to check which of the other pre-order cars that I wanted and during proceedings got their versions as I was ordering. It looks like a back problem 10/Microsoft not occur close enough copies. There might be some sort of the problem which might have occurred and also it is been got to all the user and also it is been getting an e-mail to all. It should be solved and should give another way for the existing user to get the game and also the amount they wanted.

Actually even mine was disregarded as well. Only reason I went to Best Buy at this time is because they are offering 1M as the pre-order bonus. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again.

Was so psyched to accidentally find out that Gamestop had removed my preorder from my cart last friday, gave me time to look around. Best Buy site few min later but called to ask when will you take my money. I was told when it ships and that applied to paying with paypal or a card. Told the la dy that she saved the day, only got 12 bucks to last me th e week. Tuesday my checking account it HIT, $30 FEE TO BOOT, 2 hours on phone Tues they apologized and said I would have my $30 refunded in 3 days. Thursday no $, Fri no $ so called again now Best Buy wanted to speak to a person whose name I had never given which they have as the billing info on my account which I assume they got from paypal. I never gave it to them. another hour eating min up on my cell. Now $30 in 7 days.
Today got this email called, guy said maybe I will get it I will not know until tomorrow tho said most who got email actually had order canceled but mine was not.
I'm a single dad this caused me to look horrible with my bank, be broke all week, hours on phone and not even getting the game which I promised my kid he'd have it. So upset now I either lick my boo tack loo loo and take the 1600 and $20 like it's a great deal?

This is truly unacceptable, because (and should not have to say this) the focal point of preordering is to make sure you get the game when you leave. They could have at least gives us a code to get all the LCE cars and VIP status if we change the standard edition. The gift card of $ 20 (which you may not be used to buy the game and therefore have to buy more things from them ...) and 1600 points are not really worth it to me. Fortunately, however I have until the 13th to the standard edition of them and still get the $ 20 and points. So my plan is to go out on 11, trying to find the LCE in the store and if I can I will ask the standard version of the same.

I don't understand how I was just reading and other forms where the same thing happened back in august? why were they cancelling orders in august and accepting my order september 28th? did best buy actually take your money? from what I've gathered pre ordering using pay pal is the only method of payment where they take your payment right there soon as you click submit? I've been a shareholder best buy for years I'm calling the corporate office this morning, ruin my whole week by over drawing my bank account, tied up my money now I can even buy it elsewhere you know if I could find it.
