dungeons and dragons neverwinter: Mouse doesn't work after installing the NWN
Hey hi all, recently I have install the NWN on my PC which is running on the windows7. And also with this I have also installed the patch 1.69. here after doing this all things I am having some problem related with this and the problem is that when I click PLAY at that time the arrow of the mouse disappear. So please anyone suggest me what to do in this cause?

I also installed the same NWN on my gaming PC who is also running on the windows 7 OS. And here I am not getting any this type of the problem. I think that you have done the mistake while installing this. for that I will suggest you to right click on the game and select some box that refers to windows xp compatibility or something. Iand I am sure that this will you can find in the properties. But I am not sure that actually where it have located but there is really option like this. try to do this setting, I am sure that after doing this setting you will get you mouse working again.

Same here also. The mouse is not working while I am playing this game. And due to this it is very difficult to play. And I think that it will get solved with the help of the reset only. But here thanks for your help. This is the fist time I have decided to play this game but it was not easy to me. If you have any other suggestion then please suggests me back for that.

Hey friends, I am having the following steps to install the NWN in the windows 7 or Vista machine. And the steps are as:-
On the win 7 machine, use windows explorer to find your NWN install on your old machine and drag and drop the complete nwn folder to c drive on your new machine.
and after this In the nwn folder find nwnmain.exe and nwn.exe.
then I will tell you to right click on these and select properties. Set them to run with full permissions, as administrator and under compatibility mode windows XP service pack 2 or 3. Right click on nwnmain.exe and create a shortcut. Drag and drop this to your desktop.
After doing this all things update your drivers for video and sound. manufacturers support page, otherwise go to the manufacturers of your cards' support pages.
Hope after doing this steps, you will not get any this type of the problem again.

Thanks friends very much for helping me to get resolve my problem. I wil try with this al suggestion and then I will report back for the result that it worked in my cause or not?

I was also having this same problem and after searching for the suggestion in this cause here on these forums I get the suggestion about resolving the problem. I also tried with his suggestion but at the end I came to know that this is not working in my cause. I have also tried with the so many of the suggestion which you all have suggested above to resolve that problem and after trying with then I can to know what they are also not w working in my cause. but here thanks for the suggestion.
