How to stop notification to update to IE8?

How to stop notification to update to IE8?
Hi,

I downloaded IE8 through Windows Update method recently. It is working well, however, often when you go on the Internet, a dialog appears saying NOW GET IE8. How can I remove the pops up box, I looked at msconfig and found nothing.

Thanks for any help.....

You may also be receiving a message from 'Fake' to install IE8. I'm getting to where no popup is suspect in my book. Also download install update and run the super anti spyware and malware bytes cleaning. You will be amazed at what is running suspicious in your system.

If you receive a message that all supplements are disabled every time you start Internet Explorer, follow these steps to help solve the problem:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, then Internet Options.
2. Click the Advanced tab and then click Reset. Follow all instructions on the screen.
3. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.

Stop the Automatic Updates service, Go to Start, click on Run, then type services.msc and press 'OK', then Double-click Automatic Updates, Click on Stop, this will Stop the service.
