How winch ops will be performed in Take On Helicopters

How winch ops will be performed in Take On Helicopters
I was curious as to the developers can provide advice on how to winch ops will be held in single player and multiplayer. I was waiting in the multiplayer mode would have a player controlled by the winch operator who has a great view looking down over the edge and take control of the wheel. This would work great to give the pilot feedback as to where to place the helicopter. "Move forward, left, constant, conducts its hover, hover hold. The man in the basket, going around, keeps your hover, hover and maintain. The man on board, go! “If the person being rescued is injured can be a rescuer even descending in the lathe to get the person to the basket or sling and back up with him.

This would be fun to teamwork and involve 4 players in a single operation. For Coast Guard missions, enabling the rescue of a rescue swimmer can swim to the victim and drag him back to the basket.

For a single player can have different ways depending on difficulty. For the easiest ways that the pilot can have a view in a cross or a picture in picture that appears to show a view looking down as if the lathe operator to be displayed in which you must fly to reach the point required for collection. Other partners could be the control of limited authority to the operator about the position of the aircraft on the ground. In large scale helicopter that is really common to hover car. The winch operator actually have a pendant control lets you adjust the position of the helicopter to get the winch line to the right place. For the drive mode / expert who can have the winch operator will instruct the AI as I propose that work well in multiplayer.

Here we can add the failure modes, such as getting stuck or broken around and pull an excessive load, or get the line tangled in the mast of a ship that will break the winch line. Imagine having that happen while you have the rescue line. If you get stuck until you have to lift the aircraft to avoid any obstacles and drop him off in a safe place.

For external loads such as winch or block should have a speed limit before loading / rescue becomes unstable and line breaks or rescue falls to his death. Not sure how difficult it might be, but the addition of a coefficient of resistance to external load, or rescue a block to add some interesting dynamics, such as external load balancing or increasing wind speed. There should be no fatalities, if you touch the tail rotor as well as loss of tail rotor control. Who knows, maybe the winch operator may even have a time function that can be utilized to clear the jam on the lathe. A few aircraft are even ready with a dual winch setup just for these reasons. If the winch line gets wedged on somewhat the winch operator should be able to cut the line to help avoid tangling the helicopter and crashing. Modern lathes have this security feature too.

Yes, and taking the injured man to hospital may not have a life meter stopwatch or signs that will give you a thought whether the man will die shortly and how long you have to go to hospital. In the meantime, rescue winch and the operator can prove certain things to keep a man's life based on the equipment you acquired, such as oxygen, morphene and defibrillator.

I think these types of characteristics will surly attract a huge audience and add to playability. I sturdily urge BI to take on these types of features, mainly for multiplayer.

Another game mode just occurred to me. Imagine a big boat accident or fire and several injured people who need rescuing. They have teams of 2 or 3crew in a helicopter that work together to rescue people and bring them back to the hospital / heliport specified. You will be competing against other helicopters with own crew. It would be a race to save as many people in a given period of time. Your team gets points for different things. For example: 5 points to get a man in the basket, 10 points to get him on board, 10 points to keep in the state of health above average, while the return transportation, and 20 points to fall him to the helipad. I can make out that this is truly fun and intense. Imagine 3 helicopters attempting not to sprint in the other while hovering near the boat and lift up people in the water. Rescue swimmers everywhere. Helicopter transport of people and then turned back for more.

I really like this idea, even with adequate 6DOF integration. Being able to leave the helicopter is a nice thing, but if it is "fair" to carry out pre-flight checks would be a bit disappointing. This would open many potential in the MP. If the BI cannot make certain that the group will do the whole thing possible. When you see what they are doing with ArmA I have little hesitation that we will not see somewhat like this.
