Multiple windows open unexpectedly in Internet explorer
Hi,

Sometimes while I am browsing the internet, many internet explorer windows will just pop up. How do I stop multiple windows opening unexpectedly in internet explorer, it just periodically happens. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I think its a problem related to add-on. I had the same problem with my Dell laptop. I had just tried the no add-on option for Internet Explorer and my problem was solved. You can see this and let me know if the problem has been solved.

The trouble may or may not with the add-on. Disable other services like security, privacy, ad blocker, adjust the programs to see if one looks of them is causing the trouble. Any program that relates with Internet Explorer may be causing this. Disable the firewall and check if still the problem persists.

Try cleaning first your system with malware, spyware or any other antivirus program, then also try resetting the Internet Explorer to default browser. To do this, go to to Tools, Internet Options, Programs and turn on the check box for IE to check if it is the default browser. Shut down your pc and restart again. If that doesn't work, go to My Computer - View - Folder Options - File Types (or Control Panel, Folder Options depending on your operating system)
