VOIP - Can calls be rerouted through DID numbers?

VOIP - Can calls be rerouted through DID numbers?
Can calls be rerouted through DID numbers? For instance in the Voip termination business we route calls to gateways from our switch then to the final destination. If we purchased DID numbers in other countries could we reroute through that virtual number? And then terminate calls to another local proper or mobile number. If anyone can help us with this we'll make a very happy and profitable person.

Re: Hello Everyone- Voip question
Wildgate allows Next Generation Service Providers the ability to quickly select and provision local Direct Inward Dial (DID) terminated to their VOIP gateways anywhere in the world. This solution may mitigate the need to establish multiple Point of Presence. In addition, this solution allows for simple disaster recovery when a gateway fails or Internet connectivity solutions are not working. A DID number can be re-routed in real time automatically or manually via a web interface.

Re: VOIP - Can calls be rerouted through DID numbers?
Hi Zoe:
Thanks for the reply. Please explain to me if this can be done. We are a Voip Telecom company. We have a Mera1 switch that our clients send us phone traffic for termination, the calls go from the switch to our gateway and to tha final termination. Can we use DID's in our gateways to redirect the calls or from our switch to the DID's to the final termination. For this termination we would probably use a Quintum AXT2400 24 port gateway. If you can make this happen we can pay you a salary or a per minute commssion. The DID's would have to be international unlimited because we run thousands of minutes. Thank You
