What is interactive Youtube video
I have always seen and heard as well that interactive video on Youtube get lots of view. Also there is something called video annotations is used to create such video. To be frank i am not aware of interactive Youtube videos. So i request you guys to make me know what is actually meant by interactive Youtube video and how to create it ?

Interactive videos are those that have embedded commentary, some links with the video, etc. Instead of just staring at the computer, encourage a new crop of videos users to interact with them to go by clicking on links embedded within the video. The interactive YouTube videos are used to games and quizzes to lead and their use is limited to the imagination of their creators.Video annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary onto your videos.

You control what the annotations say, where they appear on the video, and when they appear and disappear. You can even link from an annotation to another YouTube Video, Channel, or Search result.

To make any interactive Youtube Video, you need to go with annotations. If you're new to annotations, start with the 'Making Videos Interactive' section to understand what annotations are, or run through 'Getting Started' to load the annotations editor. If you have already started the editor, read on.The editor screen is divided into two main parts: The video viewer (right side of the screen) and the annotations panel (left side).Adding a new annotation:

1. Start playing your video, or seek to the moment you would like the annotation to appear.
2. You can add the following types of annotations by clicking on the appropriate '+' icon on the bottom part of the annotations panel. Try them all out to find the ones you want.
* Speech bubbles - for creating pop-up speech bubbles with text.
* Notes - for creating pop-up boxes containing text.
* Spotlights - for highlighting areas in a video - when the user moves the mouse over these areas the text you enter will appear.
* Video Pauses - for pausing the video for a length of time you specify
* You can also add links to speech bubbles, notes and highlights
3. You can also double click on the movie to create a default Spotlight annotation.
4. Notice that once added, the new annotation appears on the annotations list in the left-hand-side.

The interactive YouTube videos function a lot like Choose Your Own Adventure book of the action at intersections, and the viewer is left to make a choice to decide how the story goes.You can edit to add an unlimited number of annotations to the videos simply by clicking the blue “Edit Annotations” button to the right of the video.Video Annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary to your videos. Video Annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary to your videos. Use them to add background information about the video, create stories with multiple possibilities (viewers click to choose the next scene) or link to related YouTube videos, channels, or search results from within a video.
It is very interesting and developing every day, interactive games on youtubes are getting born and video websites. I made a research and wrote an article about the topic.
