Google API uses unofficial Google

A Google spokesman confirmed that the company has not documented API used for developing Google Mobile for iPhone. In particular colossus had to be able to access the proximity sensor so that the iPhone can use the search features voice when the user is ready to give commands.

The hypothesis is circulated over the past days between the environment of developers, after which many have noted that this function was inaccessible using official development tools available from Apple.

Although Google has admitted the use of undocumented API, the colossus of Mountain View has strongly denied the use of a proprietary framework, to practice more explicitly prohibited in the development on iPhone. However Google Mobile does not have at present, the requirements to continue to be distributed through AppStore.

It looks at this point a position taken by Apple, which look carefully all developers: if, in fact, Apple would also allow the distribution of Google Mobile is now just as it would in fact not be treated fairly leading developers up in arms.
